AU BOSS BONNET WASHER JET
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS

 

Procedure -

1. Remove windscreen wipers and rubber seal that runs along the back of the engine bay. Remove the black windscreen wiper cowlings by removing the 5 plastic screws, lifting them up from the front and pulling forward to remove.

 

2. Cut away half of the plastic centre tab on the passenger side cowling to provide room for the drivers side jet. Cut away tab on drivers side cowling to provide room for the jet to fit.

3. Drill a hole in each of the cowlings for the jets, making sure they are in line with each other.

 

4. Then using either a dremel or small file, take out a tab on either side of the holes to locate the jets. On the underneath side, thin out the plastic so that the tabs on the jets can be stretched out with a small blade screwdriver to secure them in place. This is needed as the plastic cowling is thicker than the bonnet it is intended for. (Can also be seen in pic. 3).

5. Re-route the washer hose up into the cavity underneath the cowlings and hook up to the jets.

 

6. Re-fit the plastic cowlings.

 

6. Using a pin, adjust the nozzles on the jets to get the positioning right for the spray.
